Which outdated technology do you miss the most, and why?

I think the most outdated bit of technology I miss the most, is the dial phone that: ‘Ring’ ‘Ring’ in your house, when someone wanted you, no texting or messaging just plain old, “Who is it”?

Having to look in the phone book to find a name or having one of those little flip-up phone books with all the names of your family and friends inside.
