What’s the most interesting local custom you’ve encountered?

What is the most local custom I’ve encountered? Well these days, druggies walking around talking to themselves not a lot!

Many years ago where I live and I’ve been here all my life, you’d see May Day celebrations with brass bands and local people in their best clothes.

Not so much these days in inner-city Manchester you have to make your own customs and myself and Jeni have loads, but that’s for another post.
