All I wanted to do was take a break,
and bake a cake.
But folk would say that I’m a fake,
and all I wanted was to just bake a cake.
I went to the garden centre for a rake,
“What do you want that for?”
“To bake my cake,” for heaven’s sake!
I went to the tip with rubbish to take,
to make some room to bake my cake.
“You’ll need loads of icing and sugar to make…”
“I know what I need to bake a cake.”
People keep asking what is the theme?
‘A boating lake?’
I don’t know! All I want to do is bake a cake,
for FUCK’S SAKE!
